In God's Land

A Flower Grows,
Once again,
Every year in God.
It Blooms in Such a Pretty Way,
To die again Some Winter's Day.
But what is truly Meant to Be,
When Life and Love,
Never Agree.

About this poem

I originally wrote this poem as part of a larger work. It was about the confusion that can be created when something one thinks is meant to be cannot be. However, I do feel that this verse works well on its own and truly gets the message across about what we think, how we fill, and what ultimately happens is a paradox called life. However, many have their own interpretations. I welcome yours.
