The Quill's Chronicles
Alas, the toil of ink and pen, the strife
Of crafting tales and myths, a work of art,
A labyrinth of words, a mental life,
A manuscript of dreams, with endless might,
The battle of the bard, the endless fight.
The quill that writes, the page that takes its flight,
The story that unfolds, a wondrous sight,
The visions brought to life with endless might,
A challenge to the mind, a mental fight,
A symphony of words, a work of art.
The writer's curse, the fear of just one slight,
A critique that breaks the soul, a piercing dart,
A wound that cuts deep, a mental fight,
A pain that lasts, a trial of might,
A challenge to the heart, a work of art.
The journey of the bard, the endless night,
The quest for knowledge, a tale so bright,
A challenge to the world, a writer's art,
A story untold, a vision of light,
A journey of the mind, a mental fight.
The publishing world, a place of fright,
A labyrinth of gates, a painful rite,
A challenge to the soul, a test of might,
A battle of the bard, a work of art,
A manuscript of dreams, a journey of the night.
The toil of ink and pen, the endless fight,
A challenge to the heart, a work of art,
A battle of the bard, a mental might,
A journey of the mind, a tale of light.
The struggle to be heard, a voice in the night,
A tale to be told, a dream in sight,
A manuscript to share, a shining light,
A journey of the soul, a poet's plight,
A quest for recognition, a work of art.
The edits and revisions, a constant sight,
The struggle to refine, a work so bright,
A story to be told, a challenge of might,
A journey to completion, a triumph in flight,
A manuscript to be proud, a writer's fight.
The search for a publisher, a endless night,
A quest for approval, a ray of light,
A battle to be won, a writer's might,
A story to be shared, a work of art,
A manuscript to be cherished, a soul's delight.
The waiting and the hoping, a lonely fight,
The journey to the shelves, a joyful sight,
A tale to be read, a writer's delight,
A work of passion, a journey so bright,
A manuscript to be remembered, a timeless art.
The struggle of writing and publishing a book,
A journey of the soul, a battle to be won,
A tale to be told, a light to be shone,
A work of passion, a journey of might,
A manuscript to be cherished, a timeless work of art.
And yet, despite the trials and the strife,
Despite the endless nights and endless fights,
Despite the struggles of the pen and quill,
The writer perseveres, with all their might,
For the love of their craft, their work of art.
For when the story's done, and ink is dry,
And when the manuscript is finally nigh,
The writer feels a sense of joy and pride,
A sense of satisfaction, deep inside,
For their work of art, their timeless guide.
And when the book is finally published,
And when the world can finally see,
The work of passion, the writer's muse,
The tale that's been told, a light that shines through,
A masterpiece, a timeless work of art.
So let the bard continue with their plight,
Let them tell their tales, with all their might,
For they know the struggle of pen and quill,
And they know the journey to the top of the hill,
For they are the creators, of timeless works of art.
