I've Become One with You

Now I would become again to you
my head upon your strong chest,
to your lips as fresh as morning dew
and ease this sad unrest.
To lose myself deep in your heart
with all my wandering done,
to rest at last and view the prize
of this I have won.
I winning you I lost my heart
and won the one you lost
but I would count the bargain good
no matter the cost.
It's strange mathematics we make--
we'll never more be two,
though time and space may separate
I'll always be one with you.
