Sound of the whistle blows
We choke
Tongues are tied
We're broke
Rich with change
and there’s older folk
enticed by shiny feathers.
We're still abided by
being reminded by..
then the slam of the door goes
Smack.

flopped to the floor
we were class-less
White kids in masses
