My son is sick ( 138 reads) Thursday, November 05, 2009 (20:19:34)

The other day Joshua was supposed to get his shots. I take him to the doc, had a 1700 appt. The office was CROWDED!! So, after waiting for 2 hours the doctor tells me she cant vaccinate him because she doesnt know what he already had and the army wont give me info over the phone ( they cant verify that i am really his mother...wtf)
Now he is sick. yay. He was fine today, runny nose but still ok. After sleeping for 40 minutes he woke up screaming because his nose is stuffy and he cant breath. My poor baby. I am worried because of the swine flu (its been bad here) so I will be taking him to the doctor again soon and hope he gets well.
I hate when he is sick, I feel so helpless. I cant do much for him when he has a cold. These are those mommy moments that break my heart.

I know this all to well - thanksfully my boy is growing into the man with an iron immune system - but there were sooo many days I felt the same way!
