Hello to one and all. I'm creating two Remembrance Slams. In this Slam could you please include poems that pertain to Peace and Harmony. With Remembrance day looming may I take this oppoetunity to wish Peace and Harmony to one and all. Fond Regards. Leggolas.

The significance of the numbers is that of three rounds to commemorate 11/11/11.

I am feeling most peaceful and full of harmony here.. wonderful writes one and all.. Hugs Melly

I have voted and am lucky to read such wonderful words from all.
Mark- thank you for doing this. We must never forget any of the atrocities of barbaric human conflict, with its sacrifices so that others live free- We hail them and pray for peace.

Laurence Binyon's "For the Fallen",

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
