Some Hungarian Romance

[based on a very strange but true story]


I had more beers
then you could count
not to mention
the absinth

i woke up
somewhere in Budapest
on the ground
two feet away
from a public bench

when i felt
something coarse
moving round
inside my pants
across
my private parts

what is this
i wondered ?
as my eyes began
to squintingly awake
as pedestrians
kept passing bye

it’s someones hand !!

i snapped
my head around
to see whose body
this hand
attached to
and found
some filthy smelly
homeless pervert
that’s who !!!

i should
have hit 'em
but i didn't?

it was all too surreal

still drunk
i just had to laugh
imagining
a post card:

“hi mam
just got
molested today
by a bearded
homeless man
but the weather’s
great!!”

i removed his hand
peeled myself
off the ground
and walked away

laughing at
and with
the shame
