Torn

I had such a strong vision from Heaven where did i go wrong
You were my peace and quiet in the riot of my darkened dawn
But now the sunshines bright but i can see of feel you
and i'm torn and question every thing i perceived to be true.
I can't call you god because i know your name
but i can't say it because i am nothing and i die away.

I want to hold on to You for dear life, i want to breathe again
i want what we had not that long ago i miss my friend.
Heaven shake me my world is in such disarray
peer deep into my soul oh lord and take this away.

The door to my heart isn't locked but it is jammed.
and i really don't know where i'm supposed to stand.
In this weary land parched and dry the snow mocks my life
Everything is white but my soul and i just can't get right.

inside i am torn, not between two thoughts
but shredded, torn, so torn i'm torn apart.
