My fight

You're the one I fell in love with.
Even though I couldn't have you,
I couldn't get past it.
But, you're with her, and I can't stand the sight.
I can't tell you just how I feel because I know,
I'd lose the fight.
You know me well, better in fact then most.
But we both pretend were not so close.
But hwen we are alone; just you and me,
you're eyes change, and I can see,
you care for me, just as I care for you,
but for some reason we can not be true.
I guess you just won't ever know,
just how I feel when you're my own.
I've tried forgetting you but I just can't,
you always make it back and hold my hand.
Maybe someday we won't have to hide.
I hope that day is in my sight.
