I took the verbal bashes
and lies to my face

As a father

as a soldier
shit, as a human being
You always thought youd win
now look at the position

you sick fuck)

( These are just some thoughts Ive kept bottled up inside since the last phone call with my soon to be ex husband, he said some really fucked up shit)

His mom is a .....
She never appreciated anything I did for David. I mean shit, I got a loan in MY name to consalidate debt HE had BEFORE we even met. 10k charge off on my credit report, YAY ME! 
He is living with his parents now and as usual he made it all look like it was someone elses fault. he recently tried to tell me that he never did what he did, I was like yeah ok. You had a family and a mil. career and you take the blame for someone downloading child porn on OUR computer and putting it on YOUR mp3 player? i dont think so... hes so full of shit its not even funny anymore.

Thanks D-D. Had to vent, I had some feelings that shouldve been out a few weeks ago... I tend to keep anger bottled up inside. If it werent for writing I would have gone crazy when all this happend. Its been almost 2 yrs and Im finally getting this divorce, about damn time!

weve been seperated since april 2008. ALOT has happend, he went from mr nice guy to psycho.... its in my blog. I dont want anything to do with him anymore but I promised myself i wouldnt be one of those women who doesnt let the father of her child have contact to the kid. He doesnt deserve to call himself a father but I think about josh and what he will think someday. Id rather Josh knows who his real dad is than have him ask me why I lied when he is older. I will never leave David alone with my son (cant trust the man around kids, a mental health eval. proved me right) but he can call him whenever he wants and he knows that. Sad thing is, he never calls. He didnt even call on Joshuas 2nd birthday.(yet, geeky talks to josh all the time and he is in the states too. we talk via yahoo. David came up with excuses when I said yahoo is free) He tells me to call because he cant afford calling from the states to Germany. Funny how I am the one paying for Joshuas clothes, diapers. toys, food ect (not too mention im helping my sister out and have to take care of me) and HE complains he has no money to make a 2 minute phone call on his sons birthday. The man is pathetic. I told him I hope he is happy after giving everything up and ruining his life. He admited he is miserable.... well, whos fault is that? sry for the rambling lol. It just pisses me off that he calls himself a father when in fact someone else is more of a father to Josh and he isnt in germany anymore either. ok, im stopping now.

paulina, my wife, was a single mother when we met. the first few years the biological father never rang or anything but he has gotten much better. as for my brothers wife, she is already using the kids as pawns. its a disgrace.

Those poor children. Does she even know what kind of emotional damage that can cause? And im talking permament damage. Ive seen it before. I hope she stops doing that. The kids shouldnt be a part of it, they have enough to deal with. I remember when my parents got divorced i was so confused and didnt know what to do or say. The fact that my dad got married again right away and didnt even bother to tell us only made it worse. Children need to be reassured that they are loved equally by both parents and that it is not their fault that the parents are not together anymore. Jeez, I hope she stops that asap.

I'm sorry for your troubles. Sounds like "good riddance" to him though! Glad it's almost over. Great poem though - love the title.

Thanks, I never took the time to deal with what all this did to ME. I always thought about my son, I had a moment when I was writing these. Finally took the time for ME. Ive been better for awhile now its just some things stay stuck in my brain.

Thanks so much Millie, Ive used so much strength and energy the past 2 years I wonder if I have enough left to take this last step (which is also my first) into a new life. Im not staying in Germany.if I were it would be fine but I have nothing to offer Joshua if I stay here.

Yes, I dont want David around our son, I dont trust him. He is in Missouri and as far as I know he cant leave the country without telling i dont know who... he is a registered sex offender. I dont know what the rules are but he will never be alone with my child.

Thank you Disfrazada. I have the hardest part behind me, getting over him. Now I have to jump into the water with both feet to start over again when i move to the states. Good thing going through so much taught me how to swim!
