It was just one of those things,
A could have been, a would have been-
Walking off the curb, back facing the street
All i saw was the alarm of your face
All i felt was the sudden pressure
Your arms pulling me away from that
Roaring Rush-
That filled my ears as i reached the pavement,
Just in time.
Another near miss,
Another one of my cat lives gone-
I think i've only got about three left now....
But you, were worse-
That look on your face,
The panic sobs that followed-
So what, i almost died-
In my life its a common occurrence.
But i guess you don't know that yet,
After all- it was only a first date.

wow, this gave me chills. Did that really happen? I hope not. Ive almost been hit by busses here so many times, they dont care if you are on the curb holding a child in Kaiserslautern, they dont ever look where they are going.

ah, yes it did happen- but i took poetic liberty- it wasn't on a first date........
this has happened to me numerous times...i havea longer poem i'll publish along similar lives- i really should be dead by now....i have had so many close-calls and near-misses....i feel like im a ticking clock!!!
one woman almost killed me three times!!! she started getting very nervous around me....like i was some non-human that was meant to meet their end soon!!!! hmmmm, i've been hit by a car, and almost hit heaps....i almost got squashed by huge bins of dough-that was another near miss.......almost washed over board in roguh seas......but saved by my dad grabbing my arm just as a colossal wave hit the boat.....its really quite amazing the things that happen to me!!! im quite resinged to the fact that its likely i'll die in a freak accident! thanks jenna;-) millie

oh my god! Jeez, thats some crazy stuff you got going on. are you sure noone put a curse on you? You could probably write a really funny short story though, things like that tend to crack the audience up.

it gives other people a scare.....but seeing as im patially blind and deaf- it just doesn't seem to affect me as much!!! LOL!!!
im not really deaf- well perhaps selective hearing???! LOL.

ahhhh, question a journey!! thankyou very much- i do like involving readers- if at all possible- in the story- it feels so much more real, the moral/.story so much more applicable if i can do that!!! THANKS SO MUCH!

yep- there will be more poems about my many near-miss accidents.......they proabbaly should be given you know- Part 1 part 2 of the sgaa ect. but i really like making up more creative names......))

yeah i know!!!!pretty bad at the observation of traffic- its so dirty noisy and loud- unfortunately i have a tendency to block out anything in don't like- selective hearing!!!! LOLOL.
