I Dream of Walks

I Dream of Walks

I dream of walks
Your hand in mine
Ignoring clocks
Of father time

These dreams remain
Of what we had
I am not sane
I feel so bad

I oft will wake
To lips I kissed
Then start to shake
My eyes a mist

Our love so hard
It could not win
With hearts this scarred
We lost to sin

Perhaps soft touch
We will replace
One step too much
We fell from grace

I miss the fire
From our long talks
I couldn’t tire
Just like our walks

This is lovely! Brings out all that you miss .. talking to her, holding her hand.. kissing her.. its so sad too. lovely poem...
