A perfect plan

It works this way, but following instructions
is boring and not manly, he would add.
And so he tried for days to build a shed
to store the tools he bought to build it with.

Days turned to years - his timeline knew no schedule.
The shed was built, but only half the tools
would fit. The yard remained a total mess
long after he was buried, and the shed -

just fell apart one day,
the neighbors sigh.

And I -
I still suspect

he knew the outcome would be less than perfect,
but had to realize his faulty plan
to full fruition. Just as I now plan
to try - to do, to die. Then let it fall.

      I mean that, B-man. (and I meant 'thing', not 'ting' - in Thailand 'ting' is the sound of a lighters against empty beer bottles, usually played by an annoying bunch of teen drunks singing the same old pop song over and over @ 3in the morning. Just thought I'd let you know.) Smile
