The Bible-best selling fiction

by Mike Gomes

The Bible - best selling fiction

Let me tell you a story, and you tell it to a friend
Then have him tell it to a friend, and another friend and another friend
Then tell that same story to me again
And lets see how fucked up it comes out at the end
See God created man, the heavens and the earth
But he created us, with a little curse
We are not perfect, not by a mile
We learn as we go through tribulation and trial
Let me give you an example of the story I told to my friend
Then I will tell you how it came out in the end
I told my friend Mark,
“Chuck is in the park with his girlfriend and her dog that loves to bark”
Well Mark told a friend, and they told there friends
And this is how the story came out in the end
“YO, Chuck is at the park with this huge German Shepard that could rip you apart
This thing is so huge that it can take up an entire parking spot.
If you saw this thing you would go insane
You would think it was a lion if it only had a mane”
This is the way that humans react
They hear a simple story and blow out the facts
What makes it sad is that innocent people bear the attacks.
See homosexuals are targeted for this sort of thing
Because the bible says that it is a sin
It’s a shame that we use this book as a tool
It breads anger in people and makes them cruel
The bible is written by men
The same men born not perfect, like mark and his friends
So I challenge people to evaluate the “word”
And think about how many times it has been rewritten and interpreted and heard.

You didn't sell the theme well enough to make me consider it..probably because you tried to bolster it with an incoherent tangent in the middle. It comes across as a bitter rant from a misinformed and immature person.

Interesting write. Not the best poetically, but you will get better. You got the point across, and that is very important, and you got it across very well. That, in itself is difficult. And with funny parts! Idea was perfectly expressed. Now, maybe you want to work on some metaphors, or poetic type stuff? You don't have too, just an idea. butterflyz
