As long as I can remember I have been a writer - I love to write, it's what I do, how I relate to the world, how I work through my thoughts and feelings...I have written essays, short stories, I have also written a long but incomplete novel, I have written a few songs and a BUNCH of poetry – it’s just what I do….I love how it makes me feel and how it expresses perfectly what I try to say out loud so clumsily. Yes I am incredibly clumsy – but oh well – it’s just me!
My favorite quote ever is:
"Be who you are and say what you feel cause those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter!"
The hardest thing about that is I am ALWAYS shocked to find out who doesn’t matter – I am always shocked at how often you have to say goodbye and how badly it hurts and how often it happens to me – it certainly makes you think about who is taking the next exit out of your life ……. man that craps hurts like a bitch - but I think I am getting better at it - lol - at least that’s what I tell myself!
I go to school fulltime, I work fulltime, I'm a fulltime mom, I have a very full social schedule and the best girl friends on the planet - I am blessed that most of my family is around and an active part of my life, I love animals, and have a dog and a turtle as pets.
Everyday I wake up and try to do the best job I can - no matter what it is I am working on - work, school, relationships - whatever - But mostly I love writing and will never quit! Unfortunately I am the typo queen -even with spell check! LOL!
SOOOOOOOOOOO......................welcome to my world! LOL! Remember to try and laugh at yourself every now again – joy is simple and so hard to find at the same time!
