Interesting piece, For me I read it as commentary on consumerism...but then again I may be wrong and this may have not been your intention. Also just out of curiosity are you NIN fan? or Orwell? Either way I enjoyed it..its simple, raw, tragic, and it makes a nice comment on human nature.

Consumerism is a part of it but it was more a commentary on the kind of rat race/zombie life of the everyaday "corporate slave". Always dreaming of more but knowing it will never happen, so kind of fooling yourself into believing everything is ok and you are happy. not a huge fan of NIN but I do like orwell.

FTikava - hey hey i truly 'enjoyed' and empathise with this piece. it is resonate. my only comments may be to " i live in a fantasy".
unfortunately is it not a/my/your reality? and therefor perhaps better described as 'illusion or delusion'?

Hi Riteon, I get what you mean with the whole a/my/your reality. And though that is true, I do like the idea that the common man is in a self perpetuated fairytale. So fantasy fits for me. I think i will keep it like that. Thanks for your thoughts though.
