There is one. Just go to the rankings and check the old master's box at the bottom.

Woa. That's extremely un-intuitive.
I was thinking of something along the lines of an easy to find, alphabetical list of OMs, where their name was linked to their poetry page... so that I could just look at the whole list and choose one if I had a few minutes to read.

Yep its buried pretty deep. Thats all we have for now. Someday I'll make a proper listing in a proper spot.

Yay! Thank you! I figured you'd be able to point me in the right direction.

Two ideas that might help-
1. to be able to see what the karma cost of a slam is before clicking and joining it-
2. On the rating form-if a user tries to rate a poem-but the reciever has set to 'comment required' it would be less frustrating perhaps to the voter if there was an indication of the poems setting- (ie 'comment required') before they placed their vote- reason is, at the moment they get bounced back with an error screen saying 'this user has requeted comments' etc
(which I think hacks people off).

Maybe it's the template that you use? In the one that I use:
The top of the page where you join a slam reads:
Number of Rounds 7
Round Lasts For 7 days
Karma Cost to Join Slam 5 points
Karma Pot 448 points
Poem Category Open (All)
The poem rating screen also indicates it if the user requires a comment - it's in bold and the last line above the rating form.

1. What Chameleon said.
2. There is already:
* Vote on a scale of 1 to 10. Do not vote only 7 to 10 or 1 to 3.
* Seriously, a 1 is very poor and a 10 is really excellent. A 5 rating is Average and is perfectly fine to give.
* If you leave a comment with your rating you will recieve karma points. The closer your average rating is to 5 the more karma you recieve for your comment.
* Please be fair in your vote, if everyone receives a 1 or a 10, the ratings aren't very useful.
* Please rate more than just the poems you like. If you dislike a poem, rate it!
* Do not think about giving a user all low scores because they gave you a low vote. We do not tolerate childishness like that.
* This poem requires a comment in order to vote.
