the entrance has been sealed
shut with grave wax. dimmed lights
morph the wall; look at the shape
of a human skull. bone meal descendant,
I will stay here forever in lowly
anonymity— phosphorus, tempting time.

I know of this museum from when I lived back east. I hear it's creepy, but never actually took the tour.
I like the perspective here. Can't think of any edits.

it is indeed an eerie place, there's one section of wall with skulls lining it, that this poem takes inspiration from.
one edit I have been musing over, is if I should change "descends" to "descendant". what do you think?
