How to customize specific GotPoetry RSS feeds

Many of this site's feeds can return just your own content because our RSS feeds are customizable.

With most of the RSS feeds on GotPoetry you can add a parameter at the end of them and get them to return subsets of results.

Take the blogs for instance: This is the normal blogs rss feed url - http://www.gotpoetry.com/rss/blogs2.php

BUT if you add '?user=YOUR_USER_NAME' after it, you'll get an RSS feed of just your own blog entries.

For instance, this url returns only Natey's blog entries: http://www.gotpoetry.com/rss/blogs2.php?user=natey

This feed has 3 variables to use with it. They are as follows: - 'u' equals your member number. - 'f' equals the number of the forum - 'only=poster' limits the rss to return the last 50 results just like the My_Posts screen. Examples:

This feed has two options, and the number of poems returned is customizable.

The newest poems can be fed to your RSS reader with the following. Change the num=10 to whatever number you'd like returned. http://www.gotpoetry.com/rss/poems.php?fmt=new&num=10

The most popular poems can be returned as well. Again, change the num=10 to whatever you like. http://www.gotpoetry.com/rss/poems.php?fmt=pop&num=10
