How to sign up as a member

Some people, depending on how they access the internet need to respond to an activation email.

Sign up

To become a member of GotPoetry you need to sign up as a member. As a member you can create your own photo galleries, submit poems to the poetry section, participate in the workshop forums and maintain your own profile page. To be a member you have to fill out some information such as what user name you'd like, what your current email address is, and what password you would like.

Registration emails

The registration process requires that we send you an email that contains an activation link. Clicking on the link we send you activates your account.

Sometimes a person's email client will split the link we send them into two pieces. If thats the case, copy the whole link into a browser URL and hit enter or just use the Contact Us page to send us a message stating you're having a problem. We'll guide you through the process from there.

Logging in

To log in you need to go to your account and enter the username and password you chose when you signed up. Remember, until you activate your account you cannot log in.
