The Providence Poetry Slam feat: Mike Celemme
Providence Poetry Slam This Thursday July 24, 2003 hey every body, this is Jaredpaul, Back from the almost dead!! that's right, saturday night in nyc, my brooklyn bound train caught on fire and i almost died... ...no joke, it was one of the most frightening experience of my life... ...what was i doing in New York you ask? I WAS PICKING UP MIKE CELEMME AT THE AIRPORT!

MIKE CELEMME. VEGAN SUPERSTAR. Velvet Puddle Dishwasher. Cosmic Hitch hiker. English Teacher. SEMIprose veteran. Member of the 2001 and 2002 providence slam teams. THAT'S RIGHT!!

HE'S HOME FOR A FEW SHORT WEEKS BEFORE RETURNING TO JAPAN AND WE'VE GOT HIM FOR A FULL SET THIS THURSDAY NIGHT AT AS220!!

If you haven't seen him before, you're not gonna want to miss him, if you have seen him before, you already know that his work is out standing. Wild concepts, dazzling imagery, subtle vegan jabs, and an entrepeneurial style of aggressive enthusiam unlike anything most of us have ever seen.

COME ON DOWN!!

Also, Opened Spaces would like to announce that Bernard Dolan will now be hosting the open slams on the 4th thursday!! AWW D'JEAAH, B MIZZEL UP IN THE MIDDDDIXXX FAH RILL!!

We are just two and a half short weeks away from The Nation Poetry Slam in Chicago, the Team is all riled up!! Let's fill up the place for Mike, and hit the road with the battle drums blasting!! I SAID WATCHOO KNOW ABOUT TEAM PROVIDENCE?
