Shout-out to all area poets and spoken word performers: come out and show your skills at our poetry slam! Featured artist Jake Marmer will take the stage to show you how it’s done before you take your turn. Share your latest work or cheer on your friends as they compete in this great night of spoken word poetry.

Jake Marmer merges poetry and performance into philosophically viral mixtures like existentialist dancehall, Talmudic jazz poetry and personalized bop apocalypse. He has performed extensively in New York and Jerusalem, with his band Frantic Turtle and Mima'amakim collective.
