FL -- Tampa -- Jena 6 Poetry Benefit Concert
Current Poetic Events *The Jena Six Project*

A fundraising benefit ( poetry concert ) that will donate 100% of funds
collected to the Jena 6 legal Defense fund. *This is important, y'all!*

Featuring performances by: *HBO Def Poet *Asia ( Cancer survivor and
internationally known spoken word artist, finalist at the National Poetry
Slam 2006 _ Austin, TX ), Malikah Hameen ( Jacksonville, FL _ Social Activist
and Coordinator of FTP Movement Florida Chapter ), Cuban ( Jacksonville, FL -
Southern Fried Poetry Slam Champion 2006 ), and many many others, local and
from abroad!

*$10 cover...* The show will start promptly at 9pm and run til around 11pm.
The Tampa Tribune, That's Wzup.com www.wzup.com/ , and Spotlight
magazine have confirmed that they will be covering the event.

Bring your wallets and your checkbooks! There will be a compilation cd
available for purchase, and Jena 6 t-shirts available for sale ( again 100%
of funds received for all memorabilia will go directly to their legal
defense fund ).

I guarantee you will enjoy the show, and be supportive of a truly worthy
cause all at once!
