Keeping alive the home of a poet

Among the most valuable pieces in the collection is a signed draft version of Kunitz's poem "My Mother's Pears," which Kunitz dedicated to the Stockmals, according to the university. The pear tree that he and his mother planted when he lived in the house remains to this day. The Stockmals would send a box of fresh pears to Kunitz and his wife each year. ...

Fifty authors provide work for 'Susquehanna Review'

Police release man held after death of popular artist

RCMP have released the man detained Wednesday in connection with the death of a well-known Hornby Island poet and singer. An autopsy was scheduled for today to determine the cause of death of 25-year-old Tempest Grace Gale.

Franco family's 'Metamorphosis: Junior Year'

The result is "Metamorphosis: Junior Year," a novel released in October that combines prose with poetry, short chapters with big themes and mythology with modern-day teenage angst.
