Staff Picks Staff Picks for February 2014
Posted by mamta on Friday, February 21, 2014 (07:35:55)

Another month and I am back with another round of staff picks. I have always found imagist poems fascinating mainly because of the clarity and precision of words and expression. Staff Picks Staff Picks for November 2013
Posted by mamta on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 (16:49:19)

November is slowly coming to an end and we are on the threshold of another new year. Autumn and winter poetry are often melancholic and sad and many times it reflects the inner feelings of the poet. Autumn poems always have wonderful visuals mainly due to the changing color of leaves that lend color to the trees and the ground once they fall. My pick of this month is one such poem which is rich in imagery with lots of color and visuals.

Staff Picks Staff Picks for April 2013

The Boston bombings and many other terror strikes across the world is a reminder of the hatred and anger that reside in the minds of many who always end up targeting the innocent and children. My first pick for this month is a poem that shows the effect these kind of gruesome acts have on children and adults as well.
