Lost in a world I don’t understand
Lost in this place I make a stand
Choose the path that makes me me
Choose the path let these things be

Here I stand alone and glaring
Frozen in front of the crowd who is staring
Wonder what it is they expect
Knowing its me I must accept

Here I am pondering this
Hanging on the thought of kiss
It relates to now I assure
Wondering truly if there is cure
A cure to that which plagues me so
Wondering which way I am to go

Change is good it makes your grow
But does it work – I don’t know

The face you do show the world
Those dark voices only you’ve heard
The ones who tell you this is bad
The ones who make you wonder what you had

All those things that slipped away
They come out at night and hide in the day
Just sit with me girl, right here in the light
And if you want to I won’t complain of the fight

The fight you think you need to make
Do what you need for heavens sake
The strongest of will as I am aware
Forgive me as I stop and stare

You showed me and now I know
All the reasons I must go
Not ready for this not ready for me
Trust my dear if I stayed you’d see
