freedom

we pay alot for this word free
uncle SAM always with thier hand out
our jobs scarce
yet we let poeple come to the free land
maybe for them at first
no taxes free piles up
as our bills pile up
we help others thats fine
but when we have homeless
hungry children in the free land
how can we stand with pride
freedom to the poeple born here
i laugh,freedom of speech thats just crazy
our TROOPS fighting an endless
worthless war,dieing for no cause
does anyone care
there is no freedom for the ones born here
i cant even hold my head with pride
we stole this land
right out of thier hands
i have some indian blood run through my viens
but i will never hold my head with pride
