Confusion Of The Mind

today I stand in the shower
and i stare and stare as i become painfully aware
which is cold which is hot, OMG i have forgot

My mind is totally blank trying to play a prank
as tears slide down my face and my mind trys to race
but I am just standing there looking into space

I let out a cry and you are there by my side
"What's wrong you ask," i cry, it should be a simple task
My mind has become so unkind

You stand there and turn the water on
shut the door but you are not gone
you help me out with such gentle care

but we are both painfully aware
as you give me a squeeze
it is because of this damn disease
