The World I live in

Opening my eyes each morning, I make haste
To embrace this world’s echo’s,
But then I am struck with memories,
Of people and what they say,
Is this the life I live in?
Is this what I deserve?

Have I not proved a hundred times?
What I could do before,
Trusting in people, so called friends
I learnt a painful lesson,
Trusting in my masters,
And their promising words,
I couldn’t help but think about it,
Which made me laugh for years.

It’s so funny, the way we live,
An insult to the animal kingdom,
This world is full of cunning foxes,
And we are left in fear,
A strange race suddenly walks in,
With little knowledge, undeserved
Pester our lives in earnest,
Till we wail in anger.

Now it’s time to slaughter,
And put a full stop to every undeserving soul,
My mind is truly restless,
Until my enemies, I behold
As I kneel down at the chapel,
And ask God to make me bold.
