Do You Believe

If you believe in heaven
you must believe in hell,
come gather round my fire
hear the stories I have to tell.

How for a sum of money
man has sold his soul
given up all he loved
for his desire for gold.

Or women who sell their bodies
for the dollars men will pay
they think it’s worth the degradation
so with strange men they will lay.

Sadly both men and women
other human lives will take
they’ll play games with hearts
forget what’s real and fake.

Children are no better
they too do evil deeds
to show off for their peers
they’re egos for to feed.

So gather round my fire
I’ve prepared a place for you
because if you don’t get to heaven
my home will have to do.
