This Kiss

This Kiss I've saved for I'm enslaved;
A prisoner from the start.
My soul I owe for you bestow
The cargo of my heart.

The sweetest song to you belongs
Your voice so gently blessed.
A pleasant choir, it lifts me higher;
The chorus to me addressed.

Your spirit free, it captured me,
So quickly I am sold
And soon I've found, to you I'm bound
A fate I'm glad to hold.

A pleasantness your smiles possess,
They collapse the strongest wall,
The crashing gate reverberates
And all defenses fall.

If blockades lie from you to I
Which threatens our accord,
To Providence my prayers commence
Reveal paths unexplored.

And if by fate our futures wait
And jointly we shall live,
I'll cross the lands between us and
This Kiss to you I'll give.
