i don’t really know what i’m lookin’ for
but it seems to me like he’s sweepin’ these feet off floors
even before he got the chance to unlock and open doors
for a lady
so maybe, just maybe
i don’t really have to search so hard
no, maybe
i don’t gotta play these cards all night
’cause it seems to me like i might
have just found my pocket aces
i know we've all got two faces
but maybe, just maybe
he’s got what it takes to break the mold
zeus couldn’t even fill
i said, maybe
we’ll pass the years and grow old together
then again,
all that’s just a maybe
so maybe i’ll just put a pause on forever
and for now,
i’ll be happy to get lost with four letters
H-E-double L-O
it’s a pleasure to meet you
but let’s try taking things slow
so maybe, just maybe
you and me could be we
and we would be able to grow
