a juicy full toss dispatched to the boundary
with one over left before tea
millions of aussies staying up all night
like we do in england when australia hosts the ashes fight

players sitting on a pair of ducks
makes me throw beer cans at the t.v. and shout " you useless f**ks "
drunken fancy dress pirates in the crowd add to the atmosphere
a slower ball hit for six in to the second tier

a bouncer at the head
keeps a batsman on his toes
but despite all that is said
england and australia are always friendly foes

explaining the rules, and traditions of cricket to unbelievers is a very sticky wicket
we need freddie, and spinner ponting removal, in the showdown at the oval.
