Democracy Mockery

Democracy is historically
By the governed acquired
When imposed by others
Its legitimacy is expired

It’s an irony the United States
Initials should be US
Because when it comes to foreign policy
Its either our way or bust

We want the whole world
To think like we do
So we use our great power
To make it come true

The pretense of starting
The Iraq War
Was weapons of mass destruction
But wait there’s more

We will establish a government
Just like ours
Impose it by force
With our awesome powers

And when those awful villains
Go down in defeat
The US will be heroes
They will dance in the street

After being there seven years
We need a reality check
Our forces are still there
But they haven’t danced yet

Democracies are historically
Started from within
Paid for by the blood
Of its own countrymen

To be contrived by a whole other nation
Has the same effect of any other invasion
Its time we end this Democracy Mockery
The worlds had its fill of American hypocrisy

Lets count our losses and leave them alone
Focus our efforts on problems here at home
Lets not make it worse with feeble persistence
Let them return to their normal existence

They are not like us that’s just how it is
Now that they are free its none of our biz
We have done all we can if we stay any longer
It will show the world we are a bunch of war mongers
