Dues for my Muse

Dues for my Muse

She’s an enigma
Intensely complex
Open minded
But much she rejects

She could pick you up and
Break you down
All in the same sentence
The world as she knows it is how it will be
She peruses her endeavors tenaciously
And nothing escapes her persistence

She’s a great resource to have on your side
To count on her loyalty and refer her with pride

Just don’t try any strong arm technique
She can make the most powerful seem feeble and weak

You’ll find if you cross her path
It’s a positive thing
But if you cross her
Wraths ensuing

She allows me to tap her energy flow
I’ve become addicted
My dependence grows

She keeps my heart locked up
But takes my mind for walks
She exhumes plumes of confidence
Evident in the way she talks

She’s the kind of woman
You would walk through hell
To resolve what disturbs her
I must have done well
In some former life
As no recent efforts deserve her
