crystal ball of your lonliness

i can see you biting your lip
with wired butterflies
tempting your emotions
i can see you straightening
the arch of your back
as if to scratch your shoulder blades
on the cool sheep coat carpet
desperate for that door to open
if it had arms you'd reach for it
if it had a mouth you'd kiss it
if it had eyes you'd lose yourself in them
but the door remains cold and unforgiving
producing no stranger
no pseudo attached ex
no one at all
and the fiery passion rages
your heels pressing the ground
flexing your legs
they straighten and bend
straighten and bend
open mouthed
the ceiling holds your stare.....
