A Feast of Words

On this day that we give thanks to the harvest while you nurture your bodies I have some words to feed your soul. My belly does not rumble with hunger. Nor is my throat so dry where I need to quench my thirst. That is because my soul is words that are in rhyming verse. Today I give thanks but not for the meal before me. I give thanks for God the Precious Prince of Peace. God took away my hunger and quenched my thirst. So to Him I give thanks to First. My soul was once dying from starvation but through God words I got full with salvation. God told me things that my soul had never heard. And I know feast everyday on God’s Holy Words.
