Left Over Halloween Candy

Hello…

I am eating your candy…
That I grab bagged Halloween night…
In other words…
Stealing candy from you…
If you was here you could see…

That I am going mad…

Drilling holes in my head…
Green slimy words oozing out…
Pushing in tootsie rolls…
Seems to stop the flow…
Then I don’t know…
I feel an English lesson coming on…
IIIIIIIIIIIII can’t stop it…
Did you know tootsie???
Means someone’s foot???
So much for the English lesson…
Glad that it is over???

Picture me now…
My head looks like an explosive mind…
With milk chocolate firing pens…

Now I must proceed…
Pulling my eyeballs out…
Putting them in a candy dish on the coffee table…
Replacing them with…
The candy apples of my eyes…
They just snapaaaa>apt>ed… Right in…

My ears I shoveled the wax out…
With a butter knife…
Shoving in cotton candy…
Till sugar cobwebs…
Filled the space between my ears…
Dam!!! I must have hit the brain…
I like that… I got one of those sexual things…
OOOOOOOh!!!! You know what they are called…
Everything I see and hear now is sweet…
And multicolored…
Like some very good mushrooms…
If you get my drrrrrift…

Now in my mouth…
I put the biggest…
Red wax candy chewable lips with fangs…
Flying around in my Batman cape…
Knocking the globes off the chandelier…
HAHAHA……..

I think I want to play my guitar…
I only know one note…
I wish you was here…
To hear me play it…
Over your head…
While I eat your candy…

That was you that went???
WEE…WEE… WEE… All the way home???
Daaaaaaaaaaam my mind skipped…
I hate it when that happens…
That was the… Three Little Pigs…
I was the wolf…

Let’s get back to playing guitar…
I wish you was here…
So I could tell you…
To hold your head still…
I don’t like missing notes…

Little Red Riding Hood…
Went Trick or Treating…
Through the big dark woods…
Never should have went…
Trick or Treating alone…

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH>O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the surreal flow of this. It reminded me of a shroom trip in many ways, (I should know- I've written a lot while under that particualr influence!) The links to seemingly arbitrary subject matter were reminiscient of the misfiring braincells that i recall so very fondly. Chaos and confusion abounds- sounds like a good post halloween. Take care, spence. p.s 'i wish you was here' was a nice touch.

Surreal is the right word here. I like this alot. Cant compare it to shrooms though, dont have experience with those snacks. I like how you described "filling your head"with candy... that would be a very disturbing sight to see. LOL Great write, deserves 10 pieces of candy but all they got is stars!
