Abortion

In the morning
we fold paper cranes
in silence

a tryst in the afternoon
something akin to wanting

in the summer we have barbeques
we paint our feet across hillsides
we spread blankets
and pray security

in the winter
I hate you more
I ice skate around
the word abortion

we take pictures of ourselves
we smile in them

I like this alot, seems morbid almost...abortion is such a tough subject for most people....i especially feel bad for rape victims that get pregnant.....they want the abortion and are judged for it.....anyways lol kinda lost myself....great piece, enjoyed

A great minimalist treatment of a difficult subject..tragic, blunt, and with a devastating ending. Excellent.
