Night at the Cemetery

For one night,
All that rolls,
Is Evil!

A dark cold night and not a shadow in sight,
Tonight fury is unleashed,
Taking a form of its own,

The clock struck twice,
Making a silent slice,
But where the heart is strong,
Can his will find a way?

Footsteps from out of nowhere,
Lost in fog among dead corpses,
A flimsy layer holds the good,
Away from evil and their fates.
The cemetery gate a strong obstacle,
To whoever thought they were cruel.

The climb to the top stirs the soul,
Tests even the fearless,
They continue to walk,
So brave as if they owned the dark,
Preying on souls who get lost,
That pushes fear's boundaries.
Evil in their blood, if they had any!
Breath cold as ice, but in disguise,

At the end,
Evil falls, plummets into anguish,
And the victim elevated to new heights.

This poem has your trademark. Loved these lines...

They continue to walk,
So brave as if they owned the dark,
Preying on souls who get lost,
That pushes fears boundaries.

Very scary and dark. Am seeing a lot of rhyme scheme creeping in to your posts now a days. But its just too good and falls in place. Loved it a lot.
