Twas upon a yesternight by Essex68
Twas upon a yesternight, where Oak leaves gleamed enamel.
Bathing in a light of coldest blue, a stillness in the darkest hue.
There a whisper I heard, gently through the trees.
Yet so sweetly here, summoning the breeze.
The taste of rain upon my tongue.
Now Summers gone, Autumns begun.
