Golden Tear And Whispered Prayers

Golden Tears And Whispered Prayers

Golden tears and whispered prayers.
Blood seeping through her gown of brown.
Embarrassed by maggots that fed on rotten flesh
A desire to be free of the demons within
Insanity found and bound to her lusting brain
Of golden tears and whispered prayers.

Her body finally dead
No one to blame but herself
Now her body will turn to dust
Laying in her coffin of rust
Beneath the cold hard ground
With the worms she sleeps with now
A golden tear appeared in her eyes of china blue
And a whispered prayer clung to her ruby red lips...
