Cross-Cultural Love

by thewholesoul

She enters
moving like the gravy pours
dark morena beauty
igniting ocular adore
dressed in nothing more
but candle light and silhouette
his eyes fixated, translating her allure,
dilated their applause.

Brush stroking fingers
she coloured in
his universe of dermis
oversaturating
each awing pore with touch
that would melt a stoney heart
if but a whisper
grazed upon its surface.

Making love
heaven came a little closer
necklacing night
with budding beads of sweat
nocturnal hearts, pounding in binary,
vignetting
the promise of tomorrow
with their sensual embroidary.

Two naked souls
crossing continent and culture
no earthly force
could ever separate again
now that they had found the other
that missing piece of jigsaw
each one searched
a lifetime to embrace.

Side by side
as the hour glass
finally emptied of its meaning
wrapped within the rapture
of each loving, coupled moment,
he knew there could be noone else - no farewells
as they sewed their dreams together
on the fields of pillow talk.
