Lola:Be Quiet and Let me read

Silence...
let me read his poems in
peace
do not utter his name
upon your breath
one....more....time

while i read his words
in fear that the strength
i once possessed is
being drained

she can not have the power again

as the words possess the other
half of me
that is weak and feeble
wanting to be let out of this cell

to resist you.....feeling as if i am
letting go of a piece of me
if i can't read you

even if it is
one
simple
kiss
of your pen's stroke

Lola,stop that.

they cling to the strings
that were once plucked
constantly
and still vibrate to your hum

like tasting destruction in its
harmless form

you want it
i want it

get out of my bed
stay out of my head
you are a stranger to my knowing
yet the touch of your pen
stokes bring back the
memories
