CONSCIENCE

Like an obscure guiding star she lives within
Proud of your rights and pricking your wrongs
She knows your skin and color within.
She follows like a shadow,
The ‘monkey’ mind, her arch rival.

Constitution and law shy away at her authority
She plays a sensor when your head is dirty
Great job on your well kept secrets
But she is one that never can be cheated
For she is your conscience…….
