A Poet's Friend

A poet's friend is one with whom
there are no secrets kept.
Able to read every verse.
Know where the tears are kept.

A poet's friend will sometimes say.
"What is this word you're spelling?"
No feelings hurt for what it's worth
Help tell the tale you're telling.

A poet's friend will understand.
Both share a special gift.
Expressing words upon a page
So others spirits lift.

Feelings felt from reading
In comments that you send.
Inspire poetic's fire.
Be a Poet's friend.
