A Valentine for You

A Valentine for You

A valentine for the poetess
Who soothes my mind and brings me rest
In rhyme romance we are word lovers
Sharing affection with many others

Hold me with your words fair lady
Kiss me softly I’m here waiting
Take me to your bedroom chamber
I’m falling fast in poem enamor

Take me closely to your breast
Just write the words I’ll do the rest
Your sweet refrains caress my mind
I love you more with every line

Pen your kisses
Type your hugs
Compose a piece
That shows your love

Turn my restless
Into breathless
Feed my hunger with your rhyme
Let your desires
Start a fire
And I will fan the flame with mine

Cupids stupid with his arrows
Nothing is said
And nothing is heard
You pierce my heart
With lyric darts
And hit your mark with every word
