religious poems almost always turn me off, and I often read them just for a laugh. I'm really glad this poem caught my attention though, because I really like it. I think the crafting of it is well done, your rhyme is tight, and the tone is fitting. But more than that, it really made me think. There isn't anything in my life, now or in the past, that I can go to as unfailingly as you go to your bible for guidance, support, and encouragement. I find myself deeply moved and touched by your ability to do so, and it puts this poem in a very personal light. Thanks so much for sharing and for giving me the opportunity to stop and think about things I normally wouldn't.
