poem written from a hound dog's point of view

by omegapaf

roaring monsters in the chimney on windy days
where's my monkey? i need to go out for a poo
when his silly friends arrive, he goes in to a daze
on cloudy days, my shiny things are few

stealing the monkey's lighter and dropping it in the pond
is something of which i am very fond.

pussssssssssssyyyyyyyyy cat!!!!!!!!!!

" woooooooOOOOHooooo hey bulldog!!! " - the beatles.

i'm proud to be a monkey little tigger. humans do some horrible things, where as monkeys just sit around in trees scratching their bottoms all day ha ha. the only things that seperate me from the apes are cutlery and sarcasm ha ha - pilot paul answering for the wooooooooo hound.

Paul, I love the smiles and good work you bring to GP,
...this line was a cracker:

'stealing the monkey's lighter and dropping it in the pond',

Your style/s of quote mixing are very catchy, keep up the good work, and life, it's here to be lived and nothing can be compared to a real smile,

dangnabit hound i dunno',

heads up!

I have a little 5lb. chihuahua named Wolf who lives with my mom and watches out for her and protects her and keeps her company as well. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to have any pets in my apartment but it makes me happy that Wolf and mom enjoy each others company so much.

On Saturdays I bring Wolf up and he hangs out with me for awhile and I always wonder what is in his mind but am terrified to think what all he would say if he could speak. No doubt, dogs probably think of us humans as funny creatures that feed them and give them love but also do stupid things they don't understand and merely observe out of curiosity. Often times I'll be watching a film and Wolf will look up at me and back to the television as of he's conveying to me: "Hell of a film isn't it?" And other times I believe he's mocking me for being stupid.

I think you capture the essence of dogs here very well, thinking of us humans as perhaps very silly animals while all the same valuing our friendship all the same. It's how I feel about some of the drunks at the bars I hang out at - I think many of them are idiots, but value their idiocy all the same.

Well done, Paul.

ha ha ha. " i was just an animal looking for a home, when she made some space for me to lie down " - naive melody - talking heads.
surely the name " wolf " for a 5lb chihuahua must be ironic j.p.?
i taught my hound how to sing beatles songs, but she's a much better dancer than me.......more feet, and i can't run up the wall ha ha.
i can't really suffer the drunken fools gladly anymore j.p. when somebody has told me the same story about their ex wife three times in two hours, i start looking for the exit.
    - always a pleasure to get your comments mate - paul.

Exactly how our little Tommy thinks. The only thing we're useful for is to make sure he's fed. (he also has this thing about showing his authority with the cats that meet at midnight at our bedroom window)
