MY life is a journey that I face alone
with no one by my side or place I can call home
Sometimes I walk on Quicksand and reach out for a helping hand
but there's no one there
sometimes I get so disolusioned and think no one cares
Everywhere I look I see couples walking hand in hand
and I still don't understand how many pretenders have come my way
but no one keeps hold of my hand
and fills my heart with joy and chase the blues away
I guess I have to face my journey alone to the bitter end
and wear the face that says I'm ok, and just carry on and pretend.

It's hard to say, all hands look the same. aparantly not. They always seem to be soft and warm. but then they dig the nails into you, and rip you apart. It's when they tell you they love you, and you give them your all. I made them feel like queens, and I end up a pauper. I dont bother now.A heart can only take so many wounds that dont heal.I just put my faith in God now. I know I cant go wrong. What was the question again?. ha ha. Take care my friend. Thank you. I got your ha ha! Lol. I understand, but please don't give up! Don't look so hard. Let the Lord work with in you, instead of you tring to work Him. Don't focus on you so much, but His will for your life. You are right putting your faith in Him. He has neve let me down yet. Take care, Gail

Dear Pete, I liked your poem immensly. My friend, you are alon when you entered this world and alone when it is time to exit. In between you meet, love and leave the people. It is lot like a journey. Chin up and enjoy the passage.
